Sage Chicken Tenders

Ingredients


½ cup buttermilk


¾ tsp. salt


¼ tsp. gluten free hot pepper sauce


Fresh ground black pepper, as desired


1 lb. chicken breast tenderloins


1 cup gluten free panko bread crumbs


2-3 Tbs. minced fresh sage


Oil for frying


Directions


In a bowl, whisk buttermilk, salt, pepper, and hot sauce until combined. Add chicken to bowl, turning to coat; let stand 15 minutes. In a shallow bowl, toss bread crumbs with sage. In a deep skillet, heat oil for frying. Remove tenderloins from buttermilk mixture and dip in crumb mixture; turn to coat both sides. Fry chicken 2-3 minutes per side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce if desired. (Serves: 4)
