I have spent hours on line trying to find a receipe for this fry bread which we enjoyed in Arizona before the gluten free diet started. Has anyone made this bread gluten free?

4 c. self rising flour (bette hagman has a gf self rising flour recipe) 1/2 c. pwdr milk (I use Vance's) 1/2 tsp. xanthum gum Lukewarm Water oil for cooking Mix flour and pwdr milk in a bowl. Add just enough lukewarm water to make it into a bisquit like dough. lightly kneed the dough ... not too much or it will make the bread too hard,. Make small to medium balls ... then press them out in your hands into a fry bread shape. Fry them in oil like you would a doughnut until they are light golden brown. Drain on paper towels ... eat plain, with honey ... or like we like them ... covered with chili and salad .... YUMMY
