Eating GF in the Eastern Europe
posted by mare75jo 3 years ago

Hi everybody,
my name is Maré, I am 34 years old and about 3 months ago I found out that I have celiac disease.
I travel quite often...right now I am in Bratislava (Slovakia Rep) and I was afraid...when I booked my vacation...that I was going to have lots of problems to eat good food without feeling bad. Oh well! I found a restaurant here in Bratislava called "Sole mio" where you can find pizza and pasta gluten free....just ask for food "bez lepkove", which it means without gluten....I ate a good pizza and I didn't have any problem the day after. In Wien, Austria there are few places where you can also eat GF without being afraid....and Budapest....I had an awesome pizza at the "Etna 2" restaurant....
Tomorrow I will go to Prague and I already found few restaurants downtown where I will be able to eat GF.
I am very happy that my vacation didn't turn into a nightmare for my diet.
