Slow Cooker Pepper Steak

Ingredients
2 pounds beef sirloin, cut into 2 inch strips
Garlic powder to taste
3 Tbs. vegetable oil
1 cube gluten free beef bouillon
1/4 c. hot water
1 Tbs. cornstarch
1/2 c. onion, chopped
2 large green bell peppers, chopped
1 (14.5 ounce) can stewed tomatoes, with liquid
3 Tbs. gluten free soy sauce
1 tsp. white sugar
1 tsp. salt
Success®-Boil-in-Bag White Rice
Directions
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the vegetable oil and brown the beef strips seasoned with garlic powder. Transfer to a slow cooker. Mix bouillon cube with hot water until dissolved. Pour into the slow cooker with meat. Stir in onion, stewed tomatoes, soy sauce, sugar, and salt. Cover, and cook on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours or on LOW for 6 to 8 hours. Add peppers the last hour to prevent them from becoming soggy. About 30 minutes after adding peppers, mix 1 Tbs. cornstarch into about 1/4 c. cool water and stir into slow cooker. Cook on LOW for another 30 minutes to thicken. Serve over Success®-Boil-in-Bag White Rice.
