Root Beer Pork Chops

1 c. root beer

1 c. ketchup

1 Tbs. brown sugar

2 tsp. chili powder

2 tsp. The Wizard’s-Organic Wheat-Free Vegan Worcestershire

1/4 tsp. garlic powder

2 Tbs. gluten free all-purpose flour

Coarse salt & fresh ground black pepper, as desired

4 bone-in pork loin chops

2 Tbs. olive oil

Minute Rice-Whole Grain Brown Rice


In a small bowl, combine the root beer, ketchup, brown sugar, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Set aside. In a large resealable freezer bag, combine the gluten free flour, salt and pepper. Add pork chops, one at a time, and shake to coat. In a large skillet brown pork chops in olive oil. Add root beer mixture to the skillet. Reduce heat; cover and cook turning once, about 10-15 minutes or until juices run clear. Remove pork from skillet and keep warm. Bring sauce to a boil; cook until liquid is reduced by half. Prepare rice, according to package directions. Top pork chops with sauce and serve with rice. (Serves 4)
