Ingredients
ΒΌ cup real maple syrup
2 Tbs gluten free soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
Fresh ground black pepper, as desired
1 pound salmon
Directions
In a small bowl, combine the maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic, garlic salt, and pepper. Place salmon in a shallow glass baking dish, and coat with the maple syrup mixture. Cover the dish, and marinate salmon in the refrigerator 30 minutes, turning once. When ready to cook, remove the salmon from marinade. Brush the cooking grate with oil. Heat a grill to medium-high. Place the salmon, skin-side-down, on the grill and cover. Cook, 10 to 15 minutes for most 1-inch-thick fillets. You can brush the fish with the leftover sauce while cooking if you would like more flavor. Use a spatula to remove the fish from grill and serve. (Serves: 4)
